I'll agree with that too. Deja Vu and Beautiful have to be two of the best songs on the album. And after hearing Soulja Boy on the radio for the longest time, Relapse does come like a breath of fresh air. This album is very, very personal, and its something like an eulogy to an artist who has mired himself in self-loathing.

I would agree with critics who say that the album is very dark. Tracks like 3a.m. and Stay Wide Awake are lyrically amazing while deeply disturbing at the same time. This is yet another trademark of listening to Eminem.

Other tracks like Deja Vu and Beautiful really do dig into MM as a person and you feel this connection with him as an artist. Almost like he's being real with you for a second instead of the usual "shock value lyrics". Overall I thought the album was a breathe of fresh air for the rap industry. With all the poppy, girl I wanna love you crap that gets put out today I wonder sometimes whether rap really still exists. And then Eminem puts out this album and I am reminded that someone does care about the lost art. I loved the album and give it a 9 out of 10.
